The center is reached in minutes by foot and the nearby U4 (U-Bahn station Kettenbrückengasse) provides a short connection between Schönbrunn palace and the city centre. Ideal for anyone who wants to explore Vienna by day or night! Our tip: start your day with a nice long stroll through the Naschmarkt – specialties from every corner of the world await you. INSIDE Barbara Ambrosz and Karin Stiglmaier from LUCY.D were commissioned to realize the interior design. The lobby should be reminiscent of a Vienna coffee house. Cozy corners and niches invite you to sit, relax and socialize. Warm brown tones from Melange (the famous Viennese coffee) to sand and chocolate in contrast to turquoise set the mood. The design of the breakfast area is formed in white, tones of green from light to dark and pink as a feature. Daylight floods in through the wide windowfront. The central meeting point of our hostel, the bar, is given a theatre bar feeling through its furnishings as well as the varying shades of violet, bordeaux and raspberry used throughout the space. wombats CITY HOSTELs delivers style and design without compromising price for value.
